“As someone who's a bit shy and quiet when first meeting people, making friends with the people in PCT was surprisingly simple. I had enjoyed my first semester of college but I still wasn't completely comfortable with my surroundings. But at the beginning of pledgeship, I found my people within my pledge class. I found friends I could explore campus with, have late-night study sessions with, and, most importantly, feel comfortable and at home around. Being in PCT made my transition to college exponentially better, taught me so much academically and professionally in such a short time, and helped me find lifelong friends who I know will stand by me through anything.”

“As college students, we are encouraged to network, build connections, and put our foot in seemingly every door. But emphasis on finding your people and maximizing the enjoyment of your college experience may be understated. PCT was the people that made me excited to go to campus, to football games, or study together until 4 am—they became part of nearly everything I did. In turn, this was what helped me accomplish all my professional and career goals. I left IU feeling proud of everything I worked for, looking forward to the opportunities I earned, and with people who are like my family.”
